Background: No one in Steelhead is sure who HeadBurro Antfarm is, indeed until the fire that nearly claimed his life they didn’t even know his name. He appeared in a room on Eugenia Burton’s farm. He was badly injured, poisoned and mumbling incoherently. Genie nursed him back to health in which time the only thing he would say was a single name, Jeremiah. Genie became convinced that the strange half-man, half-gazelle creature (complete with horns and fur but not, oddly, hooves) was indeed Jeremiah Mason after some terrible accident had altered his form and erased his memory. He took the name Jeremiah Mason but was suffering under a delusion that would cost him dearly. He searched for his lost memories in Mason Labs and the fire that destroyed the labs shortly afterwards nearly killed him. He now hangs between life and death in a Caledon hospital…

Background: In mid-2009 the end of the tale of The Lost Journal saw a badly injured HBA appear in Jeremiah Mason’s old room in Eugenia Burton’s farm – she nursed him back to health but found he had no memory of events prior to his appearance in that room. They have come to believe he *is* Jeremiah Mason and is suffering from amnesia.

Background: HBA first rezzed in SL in November 2006 in the middle of the first big push by Linden Labs for more users. After a few weeks wandering about wondering what the hell the fuss was all about he stopped in a no-mark little sim called Murray and helped a girl called Pinkie out by booting the griefer who was having his sport with her. Pinkie and HBA became great friends and she introduced him to the rather wonderful people who called the small spit of Land in Murray their home, a home they had to defend from griefers more than you’d believe.
In May/June 2007 HBA bought his first plot of land, a lovely 4ksqm coastline spot on a private desert island sim (Gembong East) and it was here he made a lovely home for himself and his friends. He planted a jungle, added more water to play in and peppered wee animals hither and thither until the jungle seemed almost alive.
Not long after this he began to explore SL more and more, writing free travel guides he gave out to members of his group, Backpacking Burros. He started a blog up to reproduce these guides but somehow got sidetracked by telling the story of how he came to be half-gazelle (from human via a series of abstract avs it should be noted). He also began to tell a tale set in his jungle of a shipwrecked man hunted by some ancient evil.
Also in 2007 he came across The Show Must Go On, a travelling variety & vaudeville show started by the great Osprey Therian following the staging of a play by the amazing Enjah Mysterio. He became a fan of the show and friend of the performers.
In 2008 he had the great honour of being asked to perform in the new season as a stunt bottom. From this small (but perfectly formed) pert, err I mean part, stemmed a wonderful relationship with the show and his friends in it until in 2009 his Flea Circus act took pride of place with the other brilliantly funny acts as the TSMGO troupe rolled out Professor Antfarmoffski’s World Renowned Flea Circus to an unsuspecting grid.
It was in 2009 that HBA started in a tale, The Lost Journal, with Jeremiah Mason and from that humble beginning began his rapid move from lonely jungle to bustling city as HBA headed off to live in Steelhead.
